Emergency
Repair Program
The Emergency Repair
Program provides for targeted repair of urgent health & safety
issues in individual homes, such as roof leaks, inoperable heating
systems, plumbing leaks, and non-standard electrical systems.
Assistance is provided primarily on a first-come, first-served
basis, and funds are extremely limited.
Qualifications
- The program is available only to homeowners.
- The homeowner must not exceed income eligibility limits.

A
3-year lien is filed against the property for the value of the
improvements.
- The funding cycle
begins each July 1.
- This is not a comprehensive
rehabilitation program. It is intended to correct immediate
threats to the health & safety of homeowners.
